The Ballet School Theater Basel (BTB) offers basic training for children who want to experience the joy of dance. After more than 20 years of experience, the BTB has already offered basic classical training for children and in 2023 has enabled several generations to receive professional training in classical and modern dance. Our students still benefit from this professionalism and extensive network today. We teach with joy, conviction and professionalism so that children and young people can live the diversity of dance.
For this purpose, we offer trial lessons in which we dedicate ourselves individually to each child. After the trial lesson, the children are placed in the appropriate level. This section of the Junior School is divided into Creative Children’s Dance, Pre-Ballet and levels I / II / III / IV / V. From Level II onwards, all students are required to attend at least 2 classes per week.
The BTB has various studios, whereby most classes are taught in the studio at Klosterberg 6 in the immediate vicinity of the Basel Theatre. The other studio is located in the Rankhof at Landauerstrasse 45 in Basel.

We cordially invite you to our BTB Discovery Days this year!
