Programs
The Ballettschule Theatertanz Basel (BTB) offers basic training for children who want to experience the joy of dance.
After a trial lesson, the children are placed in the appropriate level. This section of the Junior School is divided into Creative Children’s Dance, Pre-Ballet and Levels I / II / III / IV / V. From Level II onwards, all students are required to attend at least 2 classes per week.
The BTB has various studios, with most classes being taught in the studio at Klosterberg 6 in the immediate vicinity of the Theater Basel. Another one in the Rankhof at Landauerstrasse 45 in Basel.
Trial lessons are possible by appointment and cost CHF 15.–. Interested? Then click here to make an appointment.
Admission
Admission to a class is possible after the trial lesson, provided there are still places available in the class. Admission to the current semester will be charged on a pro rata basis.
Semester, holidays & public holidays
1st semester: August – end of January
2nd semester: February – end of June
There are no classes during school holidays and on public holidays. BTB follows the official holiday calendar of the Canton of Basel-Stadt.
