Ballett class TK IV & V March 2021

An insight into the daily work of the Ballettschule Theater Basel (BTB)

The video features students between the ages of 15 and 18 who are in their final 2 years of training. They represent seven different countries and spend about 25 hours a week in the studio. At the end of the course students are awarded a Swiss Federally recognized diploma in professional dance.

Prix de Lausanne 2020 Prize Winner – Classical

Matei is one of the eight winners of the Prix de Lausanne 2020. He also won the prize for the best Swiss candidate. As a result of his success at the Prix, the young dancer has been offered contracts with renowned companies such as the English National Ballet, the Royal Swedish Ballet and the Teatro alla Scala de Milano.
